Dr. Lakner is an expert in several areas of survey research, including questionnaire design, survey sampling, and the statistical analysis of survey response data. His experience spans over 30 years in both psychological and social research.

From 1970 to 1993 he served as project director at the University of Illinois Survey Research Laboratory, where he was supervisor of more than 50 social and opinion surveys conducted nationally and in the state of Illinois.
